What’s Communicable?

digital communications and creative interventions

Through Communicable, I co-organized fundraising events, like HoHoTO, a tech geek fundraiser, for which I run Communications and PR, raising over $385,000 for the Daily Bread, and HaiHaiTO, a fundraiser for Haiti benefiting Red Cross. I helped develop and launch websites for entrepreneurs and small businesses, moderated live chats for The Agenda with Steve Paikin, led workshops on social media strategy for nonprofits, and managed social media, communications, and media relations for local candidates in the municipal elections. I served on the first-ever advisory board of the Canadian Immigrant Magazine and on the GTA board of the Canadian Women in Communications.

Toronto Maker Faire a creative success – CBC News

In 2013 and 2014, I helped organize Toronto Mini Maker Faire, a weekend family-friendly festival where you could MAKE, create, learn, invent, craft, share, think, play and be inspired. This year, 10,000 people came to participate in hands-on workshops, building & hacking, see some cool science and engineering projects, 3D printing, strange creations, garage technology, arts and creativity.

I presented at MyCharityConnects, PodCamp, Innoversity’s Roadmap 2030, TechSoup Canada’s Net TuesdayShesConected Conference 2012: Connecting Brands and Top 200 Influential Women, and others. Planning an event? Let’s talk.

I provide strategic advice on digital communications, brand experience, and marketing for startups.

I love good conversations, ideas, digital comms and coffee. Let’s chat.
